We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Professional Services to lead our cloud-focused services team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker with a strong technical foundation in cloud technologies, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for driving operational excellence. You will be responsible for managing a high-performing team, optimizing service delivery processes, and serving as a thought leader both internally and externally.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of cloud consultants, architects, and project managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage resource allocation and team capacity planning to ensure successful project delivery.
- Service Delivery & Process Optimization
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of cloud professional services engagements.
- Continuously improve delivery methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Implement and track KPIs to measure team performance and project outcomes.
- Monitor customer satisfaction (CSAT), Net Promoter Score (NPS), and retention tied to Professional Services impact.
- Lead the development of reusable assets, methodologies, and intellectual property to accelerate delivery and improve margins.
- Client Engagement & Strategic Planning
- Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to scope and estimate engagements and craft compelling Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
- Drive customer success and long-term value through proactive engagement and strategic planning.
- Participate in key client presentations and executive briefings to influence decision-makers.
- Thought Leadership & Innovation
- Collaborate closely with Sales and Account Managers to develop and execute account growth strategies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape and position new service offerings aligned with market demand.
- Contribute to the development of white papers, case studies, and best practices.
- Stay current with cloud trends and emerging technologies to inform service offerings and team development, with a special focus on AI assisted strategies
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in professional services, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and related services.
- Proven experience writing and negotiating Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- Experience with ITIL, Agile, or other service delivery frameworks.
- Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, Jira, or PSA platforms.
