This role sits at the heart of a fast-growing, mission-driven SaaS environment focused on transforming healthcare communication and clinical workflows. You will lead core accounting operations while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and scalability across financial processes that directly support business growth. Acting as both a hands-on accounting expert and team leader, you will oversee financial reporting, revenue recognition, and month-end close activities in a dynamic, remote-first organization. The role combines technical accounting depth (including ASC 606) with people management and cross-functional partnership across FP&A, Sales, and Operations. You will play a key part in strengthening internal controls, improving systems, and enabling data-driven financial decisions. This is a high-impact opportunity for a leader who thrives in structured yet evolving environments and enjoys building efficient, scalable accounting functions.
The ideal candidate brings 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a direct people management role. A strong background in SaaS accounting and ASC 606 revenue recognition is essential, along with experience managing financial close cycles and accounting operations in a fast-paced environment. A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required, with CPA or CPA progress preferred. You should be highly proficient with accounting systems such as NetSuite and demonstrate strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can balance hands-on execution with team development while driving process improvement and operational excellence. Experience in high-growth SaaS environments and familiarity with metrics such as ARR, churn, or net retention are strong advantages.
