In this role, you will help shape and scale the financial strategy of a fast-growing, mission-driven healthcare organization focused on improving outcomes for children with complex medical needs. You will lead core FP&A and strategic finance functions, including long-range planning, forecasting, and performance management. This position combines hands-on financial modeling with leadership responsibilities, including managing and developing a team of analysts. You will partner closely with executive leadership, clinical teams, and operational stakeholders to translate financial insights into actionable decisions. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly cross-functional, requiring strong analytical rigor and adaptability. Your work will directly influence capital allocation, strategic initiatives, and enterprise-wide decision-making.

Accountabilities:

You will lead financial planning, strategic analysis, and performance management efforts while supporting executive decision-making and organizational growth in a dynamic healthcare environment.

  • Build and maintain long-range financial models, including 3-statement forecasts, scenario analyses, and valuation frameworks to support strategic planning and capital allocation.
  • Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with operational and clinical performance drivers.
  • Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards, and financial scorecards to enhance visibility into enterprise performance and value-based care outcomes.
  • Partner with executive leadership and external stakeholders to prepare financial materials, investment analyses, and board-level presentations.
  • Support evaluation of new payer arrangements, contract structures, capital raises, and strategic investment opportunities.
  • Drive business case development and ROI analysis for clinical programs, technology initiatives, and operational investments.
  • Manage and develop a team of analysts, fostering strong modeling discipline, analytical rigor, and professional growth.

Requirements:

You bring strong financial expertise, leadership capabilities, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights in a fast-moving environment.

  • 5–8+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, consulting, or corporate development, including at least 1 year in a management role.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including 3-statement modeling, scenario planning, cohort analysis, and forecasting.
  • Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred, particularly within provider groups, payers, or value-based care environments.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop analysts or junior team members in a player-coach capacity.
  • Strong communication skills with experience presenting to executive leadership and external stakeholders, including private equity sponsors.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with strong ability to synthesize complex data into clear narratives.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment with strong prioritization and adaptability.

Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ranging from $130,000 to $160,000, plus annual bonus eligibility.
  • Employee equity purchase program participation (where applicable).
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) for healthcare and dependent care.
  • 401(k) plan with 4% employer match, fully vested from day one.
  • Employer-paid life and disability insurance coverage.
  • Generous paid time off, including 20 PTO days, company holidays, and floating holidays.
  • Paid parental leave and additional family-support benefits.
  • Additional perks supporting wellbeing, flexibility, and professional development.
