Drives technical excellence, supports team development, and ensures successful execution of engineering tasks.Applicants must hold U.S. citizenship.Job Responsibilities<ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Lead and manage a team of engineers, focusing on project execution and team development.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ensure that engineering work aligns with technical and business requirements.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Oversee project planning, execution, and delivery, managing timelines and resources.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Collaborate with product managers and other teams to drive project success.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Implement and maintain engineering processes and best practices.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Monitor and ensure the quality of engineering deliverables.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering their growth.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Address and resolve technical and project-related issues.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Manage resource needs and allocation for engineering projects.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Track and report on project progress and team performance.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications, Education, and Skills<ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Excellent managerial and organizational skills, strong decision-making, and resource allocation.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Proficiency in team management, process improvement, and effective communication.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to manage multiple teams, ensure alignment with company goals, and drive performance improvements.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Ability to oversee project execution, collaborate across departments, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Comprehensive knowledge of departmental operations, budget management, and strategic planning.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Knowledge of software development life cycle, agile methodologies, and performance optimization.</li></ul>Technical Skills and Experience<ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Hand-on experience with programming in C/C++ and Go.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong background in building scalable software systems for multi-cloud (AWS, Azure) and on-premise environments.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with cryptographic libraries and frameworks.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience integrating with external systems using APIs for push-based (webhooks, pub/sub, streaming) and pull-based (polling, REST/RPC/gRPC) data exchange.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Strong knowledge of event-driven and message-oriented architectures, using tools such as Kafka, cloud-native pub/sub systems or similar.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with containerization (docker, podman) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for deployment and scaling in distributed environments.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with deep cryptographic object inspection, secure protocol implementation (TLS, PKI, key management), and certificate validation a big plus.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience with static analysis tools and techniques, including parsing, bytecode analysis, and vulnerability detection a big plus.</li><li style="font-size: 10pt;">Exposure to endpoint agents, scanning tools, and security integrations a big plus.</li></ul><div class="content-conclusion">Compensation Salary will be commensurate with experience.  Culture, Career Opportunities and Benefits We build teams that continually strive to get better than the day before.
