When we fall short, we learn and move forward. </li></ul></div>Location: Remote in these states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, KS, KY, IA, ID, IL, IN, LA, MA, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI  Role Description: We are seeking an innovative Manager, Accounting to support our continually growing Accounting & Finance team.  The Manager, Accounting will be instrumental in helping to set up processes, creating efficiencies, and providing professional development for all reports within the department to position itself for exponential growth in the coming years. This role reports to the Director, Accounting. What you’ll do: <ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Own the end-to-end accounts payable (AP) function, including invoice processing, vendor payment runs, subledger-to-GL reconciliations, aging review, and month-end accruals. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Oversee and develop the AP team — including the Team Lead and AP Specialists — through goal-setting, performance reviews, coaching, and day-to-day support. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Prepare month-end reconciliations and variance analysis, investigating and explaining significant fluctuations to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Manage and enforce AP internal controls, with a focus on fraud prevention around vendor banking changes, duplicate payments, and high-risk transactions. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Identify opportunities to streamline and modernize AP workflows, whether through process redesign, automation, training or AI-powered and agentic tools to reduce manual effort, increase accuracy, and scale the function as the business grows. Own the implementation and change management of such initiatives.  </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Oversee the P-Card and T&E programs, including policy compliance, platform configuration, card issuance, and vendor coordination. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Approve invoices in accordance with the Spend and Transaction policy, confirming proper GL coding, PO matching. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Coordinate and execute vendor payment runs, including intercompany payments, and partner with Treasury on funding requests to ensure payments are made accurately and on time. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support vendor management, including new vendor setups, banking updates, payment term optimization, and escalated dispute resolution. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support internal and external audit requests related to accounts payable documentation and controls. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Support shared services initiatives and partner with the Director, Accounting on cross-functional priorities and department-wide projects. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Take on additional projects and responsibilities as the business evolves and Accounting team needs shift. </li></ul>What you’ll bring to the table: <ul><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">5-7 years of accounting experience. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Solid knowledge of US GAAP.  </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Advanced Excel skills required, including VLOOKUP’s, SUMIF’s and Pivot Tables. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Excellent communication and organization skills. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Expertise in accrual accounting methods. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Skilled in performing accounting procedures; preparing and maintaining accurate records; compiling & preparing financial reports. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Ability to complete and review Financial flux analysis. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;">Experience with NetSuite Accounting system and Zip is a plus. </li><li style="font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $99,150 - $165,250.
