What You'll Do:

In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of payer agreements and data flow, ensuring timely and accurate payments.

  • Contract Negotiation & Maintenance: Negotiate, manage, and maintain a portfolio of payer contracts (Commercial, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and TPAs).
  • Reimbursement Analysis: Critically review and analyze fee schedules, payment terms, and contract language for competitiveness and accuracy.
  • Data Flow Management: Oversee and troubleshoot EDI, ERA, and EFT enrollment and setup to ensure seamless claims processing and electronic remittance.
  • Discrepancy Resolution: Monitor contract performance, identify underpayments, and collaborate with Revenue Cycle teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure correct rate loading.
  • Internal Education: Act as the subject matter expert, educating internal teams on payer requirements and complex contract terms.

 

What You'll Bring:

You are an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a strong foundation in managed care and healthcare finance.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of progressive experience in managed care, payer contracting and healthcare reimbursement.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel required (must be comfortable with complex formulas, filtering, shared documents and data analysis).
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of CPT codes, fee schedules, and claims processing best practices.
  • Analytical Mindset: Highly detail-oriented, with proven ability to interpret complex data and effectively navigate multiple systems simultaneously.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required to effectively negotiate and educate.

Compensation and Benefits Statement: We offer a competitive compensation package, with a target salary around $65,000 (adjusted based on experience and qualifications) along with a comprehensive benefits program. Selected candidate will be eligible to participate in the Company’s employee benefit plans, which currently include: health insurance; dental insurance; vision insurance; optional supplemental medical insurance; health savings and flexible spending accounts; company-paid life insurance and additional voluntary life insurance; company-paid short term disability and long term disability insurance; participation in a 401(k) savings and investment plan with company contribution; and paid time off for non-exempt salaried employees is calculated as .625 per pay period worked for vacation time and .29166 per pay period for personal time. Full-time exempt employees will be eligible for Flex-PTO, which allows time off without accrual. If applicable and required under state law, the successful candidate will also be eligible for paid sick leave. These benefits are subject to plan terms, company policies and are subject to change.
