The Justice and Emerging Markets Portfolio at Volaris Group is seeking a M&A Business Development Associate to help with driving strategic growth across targeted verticals in North America and Europe. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of identifying, evaluating, and executing high-value M&A opportunities that align with our goals.

A key player in our team, you’ll immerse yourself in market research, build meaningful relationships with industry leaders, and collaborate across departments to craft compelling business cases. Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
- Creatively identify leads that meet our strategic criteria and metrics for vertical market software businesses.  
- Build and maintain a proprietary database of industry contacts, expanding our network.  
- Develop and execute prospecting campaigns using digital media, outbound calls, in-person meetings, and participation in industry events.  
- Leverage creativity, persistence, and credibility to engage with business owners, operators, and C-suite executives.  
- Gather, analyze, and present detailed target company information to the M&A team and senior leaders.  
- Support later stages of the M&A process, including due diligence, assisting with Investment Memo, and fostering continuity in relationships.

You’re results-oriented, driven to succeed, and possess excellent attention to detail. With strong social skills and a professional demeanor, you’re an energetic self-starter who thrives on intellectual curiosity and enjoys building relationships with industry executives and thought leaders.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional academic performance in an undergraduate business degree from an accredited university.

  • Strong communication skills with professional fluency in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.

  • Confident and professional presentation skills across all levels of stakeholders.

  • Persistent, self-motivated work ethic, capable of both independent and team-oriented work.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10%.
