The Loyalty Editor divides their time between:<ol><li>Increasing community engagement by embedding with SB Nation communities. The Loyalty Editor fosters active and consistent discussions (core to this is working with SB Nation talents to engage with our audiences directly.)</li><li>Communicating and evangelize broadly about repeatable best practices that work. </li><li>Editing headlines, prompts and engage in comment sections to drive engagement</li><li>Analyzing and sharing loyalty metrics such as commenter growth, time on page, and repeat visits</li></ol><h2>WHAT YOU’LL DO</h2>The Loyalty Editor drives engagement across SB Nation’s biggest communities by:<ul><li>Auditing and adding community engagement: Ensuring posts includes an engagement tactic.</li><li>Identifying and aggregating comments that could be showcased on our sites and on social</li><li>Identifying and developing prompts that drive engagement</li><li>Identify and help us celebrate loyalty and community wins -- both internally and to users.</li><li>Coaching writers on best practices and community insights</li><li>Track the growth of our loyal audience, and surfacing these metrics to editorial stakeholders.</li></ul><h2>WHO YOU ARE</h2><ul><li>You are an expert with headlines and shortform content like social teases</li><li>You know how to nurture smart, effective conversations</li><li>You are open to working with employees at all levels, including executive leadership</li><li>You have strong written and verbal communication skills</li><li>You’re able to manage multiple tracks of work at once, balancing both short-term and long-term projects simultaneously.</li><li>Experience in turning Parse.ly, Chartbeat and/or Google Analytics data into actionable insights</li></ul>Bonus points for: <ul><li>Personal experience building community on social</li><li>Understanding of SEM, SEO, social media, YouTube, and/or email marketing best practices </li><li>A passion for digital publishing; experience working in a fast-paced and fluid editorial environment</li></ul> If you think you have what it takes, but don't meet every single point in our job posting, please apply with a cover letter to let us know how you believe you can bring your unique skills to the Vox Media team or get in touch!
