This team member will use the latest AI/LLM tools to assist in creating accurate, timely content on trending conversations and topics, and help contribute to the success of Newsweek and shape its future through data-driven decision making. Key Responsibilities<ul style="text-align: justify;"><li>Content creation: Create multiple stories per day on high-interest topics around life advice, personal dilemmas, health, wellness and trending digital themes.<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":1,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335559685":837,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":227,"335559991":360,"469777462":[837],"469777927":[0],"469777928":[1]}"> </li><li>Data awareness: Use analytics data to determine stories that will resonate with audiences. Actively participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative content ideas to drive audience growth and engagement. <span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":1,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335559685":837,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":227,"335559991":360,"469777462":[837],"469777927":[0],"469777928":[1]}"> </li><li>AI assisted workflow: Increase prowess using LLMs to aid in the speed, depth and breadth of reporting and look for opportunities to further develop AI tools.<span data-ccp-props="{"134233117":false,"134233118":false,"201341983":1,"335551550":1,"335551620":1,"335559685":837,"335559737":0,"335559738":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":227,"335559991":360,"469777462":[837],"469777927":[0],"469777928":[1]}"> </li><li>Any other reasonable duties to meet the needs of the business.</li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, or a related field.</li><li>Proven experience in creating content in a newsroom or digital publication or similar environment, with a track record of engaging a large audience.</li><li>Deep understanding of lifestyle trending topics like internet conversations, health, entertainment, science, wellness and beyond.</li><li>Strong editorial judgment with an exceptional ability to spot trending content.</li><li>Ability to adapt to rapidly changing trends and pivot strategies accordingly without compromising on quality.</li><li>Prior experience with AI/LLM tools is highly preferred but not required.</li></ul>  Salary range: $60,000 - $65,000 commensurate with experience<div class="content-conclusion">Newsweek is an equal opportunity employer.
