The Role
TimelyCare is seeking a Licensing Specialist to provide administrative support with Licensing to our network of providers including Physicians, Nurses, and Licensed Social Workers. The Licensing Specialist at TimelyCare must be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to drive results. They will be expected and empowered to establish processes and create workflows needed to be successful in this role.
What You’ll Do - Establish, facilitate, and maintain efficient, quality processes for obtaining and renewing state, DEA, and Prescriptive Authority licenses in all 50 states for Physicians, Nurses, and Licensed Mental Health providers (LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
- Establish and maintain tracking of workflow steps required for obtaining licenses in all 50 states.
- Monitor progress and approval of submitted licenses ensuring all items are completed and submitted in a timely manner.
- Update and maintain license records in established systems or databases.
- Communicate effectively internally and externally with providers, stakeholders, and licensing boards on the progress of licenses.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to licensing.
- Understand, follow, and document state requirements for obtaining licenses for work required at TimelyCare.
- Problem-solve any issues that may arise with License submission to state boards to ensure timely resolution.
- Provide key input into further development of this role and additional duties such as, but not limited to, license renewals and Continuing Education requirements.
- Submit and track enrollment applications for providers with commercial, government, and other third-party payers.
- Assist Providers with updating and maintaining CAQH profiles.
- Handle any additional duties assigned to you by your leadership team to support the mission of TimelyCare.
What You Bring- Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Administration or Related Field
- 5+ years of Provider Licensing experience in a multi-state environment
- Experience in a Credentialing System (MD-Staff) is preferred

$70,000 - $75,000 a year
The salary range for this opportunity is $70,000 – $75,000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process.
