This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Licensing and Translation Manager (Scales Manager) in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of clinical research operations, intellectual property management, and global vendor coordination, supporting the delivery of neuropsychological assessment tools used in international clinical trials. You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of licensed cognitive “scales,” ensuring proper procurement, compliance, and distribution across studies conducted worldwide. Acting as a key liaison between internal teams, legal stakeholders, licensors, and translation providers, you will help ensure assessments are accurately adapted and deployed in both paper and electronic formats. The role requires strong operational rigor, excellent vendor management skills, and the ability to navigate legal and scientific requirements in a fast-paced, regulated environment. You will contribute directly to the quality and reliability of tools used in clinical research programs spanning multiple therapeutic areas. This is a highly collaborative, global-facing position with meaningful impact on how cognitive data is collected and standardized in clinical trials.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of licensed clinical assessment tools used in global research programs, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery across multiple stakeholders. You will coordinate closely with internal teams, external vendors, and licensors to support both operational execution and strategic study needs.

  • Manage procurement, licensing, and compliance of neuropsychological scales, ensuring all legal agreements and permissions are secured and maintained
  • Coordinate translation, adaptation, and migration of assessments into electronic formats in collaboration with eCOA vendors and global partners
  • Serve as primary liaison for licensors, translation vendors, and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment on timelines, deliverables, and requirements
  • Maintain accurate tracking systems, documentation, and databases for scale usage, distribution, and regulatory compliance
  • Oversee vendor deliverables, quality control, and invoice review while ensuring adherence to project budgets and timelines
  • Support clinical study execution by coordinating scale materials, modifications, and logistics across multiple phase I–III trials
  • Provide guidance to internal teams on copyright requirements, usage limitations, and compliance standards

Requirements

This position requires a strong foundation in clinical research operations, intellectual property management, and vendor coordination within a regulated environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a global setting.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Life Sciences, or a related scientific field
  • 3–5+ years of clinical trial or clinical research experience
  • Understanding of neuropsychological assessments and/or patient-reported outcomes
  • Familiarity with intellectual property and copyright law (strongly preferred)
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline
  • Experience managing vendors, external partners, or cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general familiarity with data tracking and operational systems
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, global environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with collaborative mindset

Benefits

  • Fully remote work within eligible regions (US, UK, or Australia depending on entity registration)
  • Competitive base salary with additional earning opportunities depending on role level
  • 20 days of vacation, 10 personal days, and 10 paid public holidays
  • 401(k) plan with employer matching up to 3% of salary
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with employer contributions
  • Free vision insurance for full-time employees
  • 100% employer-paid short-term and long-term disability and life insurance
  • Flexible spending accounts (healthcare and dependent care)
  • Learning and development support, including mentorship and training opportunities
  • Inclusive and collaborative global team culture with strong focus on impact and innovation
