This role is ideal for a legally trained professional who combines editorial precision with a strong interest in AI-driven content development. You will manage and update authoritative legal content using AI-enabled tools while ensuring accuracy, clarity, and usability for end users. The position involves collaborating with external authors, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to maintain up-to-date legal analysis across multiple practice areas. You will oversee AI-assisted workflows, contribute to the improvement of AI tools, and apply editorial judgment to refine outputs before publication. Success in this role requires a balance of legal expertise, editorial excellence, and technological fluency, enabling the delivery of high-quality, timely content in a fast-paced environment. This is a highly collaborative position that influences both the content strategy and the adoption of AI tools in legal publishing.


Accountabilities:
  • Curate, update, and refine legal content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and currency across multiple practice areas.
  • Manage relationships with external authors and contributors, providing guidance on editorial standards, AI-assisted workflows, and content quality.
  • Track legislative, regulatory, and case-law developments to inform content updates and identify new content opportunities.
  • Apply editorial judgment to review and refine AI-generated outputs, ensuring consistency and compliance with established standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Content Strategy, and Marketing to align content with market needs.
  • Contribute subject-matter insight to the testing, evaluation, and enhancement of AI tools for content creation and updating.
  • Maintain editorial schedules, monitor performance metrics, and report on content currency and quality outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) required.
  • 1–5 years of experience in legal practice, legal publishing, or related content development roles.
  • Strong editorial skills with the ability to edit complex legal content for clarity, accuracy, and voice.
  • Experience with AI-enabled tools for legal research, drafting, summarization, and content review.
  • Ability to craft effective prompts, evaluate AI outputs, iterate for quality, and contribute to workflow improvements.
  • Excellent project management, collaboration, and communication skills with an ability to work across multiple teams.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market signals and customer feedback to guide content initiatives.
  • Adaptable and proactive, capable of managing ambiguity while maintaining high standards.
