We’re looking for an enthusiastic Learning and Development Trainer to play a pivotal role in shaping our team’s growth journey under the strategic guidance of our L&D Lead. In this role, you’ll help deliver an immersive onboarding experience that transforms new hires into confident, high-performing team members. You’ll support the execution of monthly innovation workshops, continuously refining our processes to keep them sharp and scalable. Partnering with the L&D Lead, you’ll help implement and maintain our new LMS, building a dynamic knowledge-sharing ecosystem that equips every team member to thrive. This is an exciting opportunity to grow your impact in a fast-paced, evolving environment—where your creativity and collaboration can truly shape how Reserv learns, grows, and excels together.</p><p> </p><h3><strong>Who you are</strong></h3><ul><li>Strategic Thinker - You understand how learning and development efforts connect to broader team and business goals, and you focus on delivering training solutions that directly support day-to-day performance and team success.</li><li>Experienced Professional – You have a proven track record of delivering impactful training programs, ideally within the insurance industry or a similarly complex field.</li><li>Innovative – You stay ahead of learning trends, incorporating modern tools and methodologies to create engaging, future-forward experiences.</li><li>Effective Communicator – You build strong relationships across teams, clearly convey ideas, and foster open collaboration.</li><li>Passionate Leader – You’re committed to growth, inspiring others through your dedication to professional development and continuous improvement.</li><li>Adaptable – You thrive in a fast-changing environment and help others navigate change with confidence and clarity.</li></ul><p> </p><h3><strong>What we need</strong></h3><p>We need you to do all the things typical to the role:</p><ul><li>Facilitate and support the delivery of a comprehensive onboarding program for new team members, ensuring alignment with established training plans and company values.</li><li>Collaborate with the L&D Lead and operational teams to continuously refine and improve onboarding materials based on QA feedback, performance data, and employee input.</li><li>Provide hands-on coaching and day-to-day mentorship during the onboarding phase, helping new hires build confidence and competence in their roles.</li><li>Assist in planning and conducting monthly process refresher and improvement trainings to reinforce best practices and address evolving team needs.</li><li>Support the development and rollout of ongoing education sessions that upskill employees and reinforce key workflows.</li><li>Help identify training needs through surveys, performance observations, and team feedback.</li><li>Assist with maintaining and updating content within the knowledge base and/or LMS, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with current practices.</li><li>Follow and promote best practices for knowledge sharing and documentation standards across teams.</li><li>Assist in drafting and updating internal resources such as email templates, process documents, and FAQs to ensure clarity and consistency.</li><li>Support communication alignment by helping ensure external messaging remains consistent with company tone and guidelines.</li><li>Help manage and uphold internal style guides for training materials and knowledge resources.</li><li>Gather feedback and assist in evaluating training program effectiveness, sharing insights with the L&D Lead and key stakeholders.</li><li>Contribute to data collection and reporting on training attendance, engagement, and learning outcomes.</li><li>Stay current on training tools and technologies, sharing ideas to improve delivery and learner engagement.</li><li>Support LMS management tasks, including user tracking, content updates, and troubleshooting.</li></ul><h2> </h2><h2><strong>Requirements</strong></h2><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree OR 2+ years of experience in human resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field</li><li>2 years of experience in learning and development roles</li><li>Demonstrated experience supporting the design and delivery of effective training programs.</li><li>Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse learners.</li><li>Highly collaborative, with the ability to partner effectively across departments and support cross-functional projects.</li><li>Adaptable and resourceful in dynamic environments; able to pivot quickly when priorities shift.</li><li>Eager to grow—demonstrates a proactive approach to professional development and keeps current with industry trends.</li><li>Tech-savvy and curious, with a track record of learning and applying new tools or systems to improve the training experience.</li></ul><h2> </h2><h2><strong>Benefits</strong></h2><ul><li>Generous health-insurance package with nationwide coverage, vision, & dental</li><li>401(k) retirement plan with employer matching</li><li>Competitive PTO policy – we want our employees fresh, healthy, happy, and energized!</li><li>Generous family leave policy</li><li>Work from anywhere to facilitate your work life balance</li><li>Apple laptop, large second monitor, and other quality-of-life equipment you may want.
