Join a Global Team Making a Lasting Impact with Lumivero

Are you ready to be part of a team that’s changing the world? At Lumivero, we develop powerful data-intelligence software that empowers users to answer their most pressing questions. Our trusted research, decision-making, and organizational tools help academic and corporate professionals create impactful insights from their most complex data – enabling them to work more efficiently and make informed, confident decisions.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic, strategic, forward-thinking Learning & Development (L&D) Manager or Director to lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of our onboarding, engagement, and learning initiatives. This role will focus on building programs that support a strong and comprehensive onboarding experience, foster employee engagement, and drive leadership and manager development across the organization. You’ll work closely with HR Business Partners and cross-functional stakeholders to tailor L&D programs to business needs so that Lumivero continues to achieve its growth goals.

Key Responsibilities

You will play a lead role in creating an exceptional onboarding and early experience for new employees by:
  • Owning and continuously improving the new hire and acquisition onboarding experience to ensure a seamless and engaging integration into company culture.
  • Partnering with hiring managers and HRBPs to ensure our onboarding programs are relevant, inclusive, and thorough in educating those who join about the company’s vision, mission, functions, products, and culture.
  • Tracking our onboarding outcomes and adapting our programs based on feedback and success metrics.

You will own the development of people managers and emerging leaders across our organization by:
  • Designing and delivering scalable training programs for people managers at all levels, focusing on key capabilities, such as performance management, coaching, communication, and team development.
  • Designing and delivering programs, workshops, learning activities, and resources that align with organizational, functional, and individual priorities.
  • Supporting succession planning and leadership pipeline initiatives by identifying and developing our high-potential talent.
  • Providing guidance, resources, and coaching to managers to help them grow in their roles.

You will help cultivate a culture of learning, growth, and engagement by:
  • Leading our employee engagement and eNPS strategy, including cadence, reporting, and follow-through actions.
  • Developing programs and experiences that foster psychological safety, career development, and alignment with company values.
  • Partnering across departments to ensure learning and engagement are embedded in the flow of work, not layered on top of it.

You will pursue strategic partnership with HRBPs & business leaders in order to:
  • Identify learning needs and skill gaps, and to co-create targeted development strategies.
  • Use data and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs and recommend improvements.
  • Act as a strategic advisor and thought partner to ensure L&D programs support broader talent and organizational goals.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Proven experience developing and delivering programs in onboarding, manager development, and employee engagement.
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
  • Experience partnering with HR Business Partners and senior leadership to align L&D initiatives with business strategy.
  • Exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a bias toward collaboration and action.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources.
  • Sense of humor and desire to own work and continuously push forward your own career development.

Preferred Skills and Experience
  • Experience working in a high-growth or matrixed environment.
  • Familiarity with 15five platform administration
  • Familiarity with modern L&D tools, platforms, and delivery methods.
  • Coaching certification or experience delivering coaching-based programs such as Insights Discovery and Situational Leadership.

Benefits
  • 85,000 GBP / 120,000 USD annual base salary depending on qualifications and location.
  • An annual performance-based bonus to recognize personal excellence.
  • Annual tech stipend to get what you need to do your best work.
  • Flexible, remote first work environment and a diverse, global team.
  • Opportunities for career advancement as Lumivero grows.
