Role: Lead UX Architect
Job Type: Full Time, Remote
We’re building a cutting-edge data platform designed to empower users to explore, query, and visualize data across multiple sources — with speed, clarity, and control. To bring this to life, we’re looking for a UX Architect who combines world-class information design skills with a strong partnership mentality toward engineering architecture
You'll own the information architecture, interaction design, and experience flow for our entire front-end interface — working at the intersection of data exploration, usability, and scalable UI systems.
What you’ll be doing
 Experience & Architecture Strategy
Define the platform’s information architecture, navigation model, and UX patterns
Design scalable frameworks for dashboarding, query building, and cross-dataset exploration
Create intuitive mental models for users navigating complex data environments
Design for Data & Complexity
Design user-friendly flows for querying, filtering, transforming, and visualizing data
Drive clarity and simplicity in interfaces handling complex, multi-dimensional data
Collaborate on UX strategies for large-scale data sets and multi-modal outputs
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner closely with the Front-End Architect and engineering leads to align UI systems with technical realities
Work with Product to translate business and user needs into UX requirements and design systems
Provide structure and guidance to UI implementers (JavaScript/React devs)
Prototyping & Documentation
Create wireframes, flow diagrams, mockups, and low/hi-fidelity prototypes
Maintain a UX system that is extensible, flexible, and semantically robust
Write UX specs and rationales for engineering handoff
What you’ll bring to the team
5–10+ years of experience in UX architecture, interaction design, or UX strategy
Strong background in information architecture for web platforms or data-heavy applications
Experience designing query builders, analytics dashboards, or exploration interfaces a major plus
Familiarity with front-end technologies (React, component libraries, web APIs)
Proficiency in tools like Figma, Miro, Lucidchart, or other UX documentation platforms
Excellent communication skills — written, visual, and verbal
A portfolio or case studies demonstrating complex problem-solving and UX clarity
What separates you from the other candidates:
Experience on an enterprise product engineering team with frequent releases, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality products.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code, contributing to a smooth and efficient release process.
Experience with a security product, specifically threat detection, with a focus on information architecture (IA), contributing to the design and development of impactful security solutions.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
