Beckley Clinical is excited to welcome a Lead Therapist, reporting to our Chief Operations Officer and working closely with our Chief Medical Officer, who is responsible for the management and delivery of psychotherapy at Beckley Clinical. This includes conventional psychotherapy and “Wraparound psychotherapy” delivered in parallel with psychoactive medications, such as ketamine and Spravato. This position combines clinical expertise with leadership and training responsibilities to ensure high standards of care and efficient operation of patient care services and outcomes. The Lead Therapist will have an opportunity to help shape the future and expansion of Beckley Clinical to drive patient outcomes.  


What you'll do
  • Clinical Protocols & Compliance:  Work with CMO to implement a training program for Wraparound psychotherapy, implement SOPs, and ensure care is provided in accordance with standards.
  • Ensure compliance with policies/regulations.
  • Policy Implementation: Ensure adherence to clinical policies, procedures, and compliance of regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain education and training requirements for the therapist team.

  • Management: Team Supervision: Oversee, supervise and mentor a team of therapists.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided, implementing improvements as necessary.
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding and training of therapist staff.
  • Metrics & Accountability: Monitor key clinical and operational metrics (e.g., patient outcomes, therapist productivity, appointment adherence, patient satisfaction scores) and create a culture of accountability through regular performance reviews, goal setting, and data-driven decision making.

  • Patient Care & Management: Conduct patient assessments and develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Scheduling & Staffing: Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.
  • Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and continuity of care.
  • Improve processes to ensure patient outcomes.
  • Works cross functionally with operations, marketing, product, and sales team to support business objectivesAdditional responsibilities as assigned


Qualifications
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of clinical experience, preferably in trauma therapy, mood disorders, and anxiety disorders.
  • 2+ years of management experience. 
  • Experience working with individuals with moderate to severe mental health symptoms.
  • Experience with ketamine-assisted therapy or other psychedelic-assisted modalities is highly preferred.
  • Certification or formal training in psychedelic-assisted therapy (e.g., MAPS, CIIS, IPI, Fluence, Polaris etc.) is highly preferred.
  • Training in evidence-based therapy modalities, such as psychodynamic psychotherapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), or Somatic Experiencing (SE). 

  • Licensure: Licensed mental health professional (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, PhD)
  • Texas licensure or willing to obtain license in Texas
  • Individual NPI number
  • Willing to be paneled with commercial insurance companies, Medicare and Medicaid

  • Skills: Providing clinical supervision to therapist staff.
  • Developing and implementing treatment protocols.
  • Proficiency in clinical data analysis. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. 

  • Competencies: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to develop and implement treatment protocols.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills.Comfortable using technology and conducting virtual therapy sessions.
  • Familiarity with principles of ketamine treatment and psychedelic therapy. Familiarity with revenue cycle management and insurance billing processes is a plus. Familiarity with telehealth service provision, including regulatory requirements and best practices. 
  • Proficient with EHR, preferably Athena, in leveraging technology to optimize patient care and clinical operations. 
  • Travel as required
