ULTRA MOBILE is seeking a talented Lead Software Engineer to join the Engineering Team! Individual reports to Senior Manager, Engineering. Role is remote- must reside in the United States.ABOUT THE ROLEYour usual day of awesomeness includes:  <ul><li>Software Design and Development of prototypes and tools that cross full stack - from UI, DevOps, Backend, Data Services, etc.</li><li>Passion, understanding, and continual learning of best practices, both in-process and development.</li><li>A software language polyglot experience with multiple languages and to know when to pick the best tools.</li><li>Lead a team of direct reports responsible for delivering projects that enable new features and functionality. </li></ul>WHAT YOU BRING<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree.</li><li>5+ years of experience in Software Development.</li><li>Well-versed in software patterns and software design.</li><li>Has a full understanding of SDLC processes and helped extend SDLC.</li><li>Strong expertise in JavaScript, Node.JS, and RESTful.</li><li>Skillful in Unit Testing and BDD.</li><li>Savvy in NOSQL and multiple OLTP databases.</li><li>Strong skills in Queues, PubSub, and Data Streaming - for example, SQS/SNS, Kafka.</li><li>Experience with Agile and Scrum, and Agile and Scrum-related tools.</li><li>Experience with SPA architecture, React, and Angular.</li><li>Experience leading a team and helping your team grow.</li><li>Ability to be assigned a problem and take ownership with minimal guidance.</li><li>Highly motivated self-learner.</li></ul>WE ARE ULTRA & MINT MOBILEWe connect people to what’s most important in their lives: Easily, affordably and reliably.
