Evertune is building the first AI discovery platform for modern marketers. As large language models (LLMs) become the go-to source for recommendations – we help brands understand exactly what AI is saying about them, where they stand against competitors, and how to show up more often in AI-powered answers. Our platform turns black-box AI behavior into actionable insights, so marketing teams can make faster, smarter decisions that drive growth.
Founded by leaders who helped scale The Trade Desk into the world’s leading ad tech platform, we bring deep expertise in digital advertising, data, and high-growth environments. Now, we’re pioneering a new category at the intersection of AI, SEO, and brand strategy.
We raised a $15M Series A led by Felicis Ventures, with support from Eniac, NextView, Roger Ehrenberg, and leaders from OpenAI, Google, Meta, Uber, and more. This gives us the momentum to move faster and build the first enterprise-grade AI marketing suite.
Backed by top-tier VC investors and trusted by forward-thinking brands, we have the resources to scale – but what really defines us is our culture. We move fast, think boldly, and believe the best ideas win regardless of title. If you're excited about shaping the future of how brands grow in the age of AI, you’ll thrive here.
You’ll join Evertune’s engineering team at a pivotal moment in the company’s growth. We’re a tight-knit, ambitious group building quickly at the frontier of AI and search, with teammates primarily based in New York and Seattle. We care deeply about craft, but we know great products are built through iteration – we value momentum, clear thinking, and people who turn ambiguity into product.
As an early member of the team, you’ll have a meaningful influence on what we build, how we build it, and how the engineering organization evolves as we scale.
You must be based in the NYC area and available to work in-office with the team 3x/week at our Flatiron location.
As a Lead Full Stack Engineer at Evertune, you’ll help shape the future of how marketers interact with AI. This is a hands-on player/coach role for someone who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and execution - someone who can build across the stack, lead by example, and help raise the bar for a growing team.
You’ll contribute directly to core product development while helping provide technical leadership for engineers around you, especially more junior team members in New York. We’re looking for someone who brings strong ownership, sound judgment, and mentorship instincts – someone who has led, influenced technical direction, and helped others grow.
This role is ideal for an engineer who wants to remain deeply hands-on while also helping create structure, clarity, and momentum across a fast-moving product and engineering organization. You should be excited by AI-native product experiences, energized by ambiguity, and already heavily using AI tools and LLMs in your own workflow to operate with greater leverage.
Own and lead the development of key areas of Evertune’s product experience across frontend, backend, and APIs, with a particular focus on UI craft, visual quality, and overall polish
Lead and mentor junior engineers through thoughtful code reviews, pairing, and day-to-day technical guidance
Design, develop, and ship intuitive, high-performance user experiences for cutting-edge AI products
Build and evolve backend services and application logic that power core product workflows
Help create cohesion across multiple product areas into a unified, intuitive user experience
Collaborate closely with product, design, and engineering to shape how AI changes UI/UX, and experiment with new ways to make insights clear, actionable, and impactful
Own and evolve frontend architecture, component systems, and code standards, while contributing to broader full stack architecture decisions
Partner with engineering teammates to design clean APIs and ensure seamless integration across the stack
Create clarity and alignment across the engineering team and cross-functional partners
Champion performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall product quality across all products
Help grow a team culture that values speed, craft, ownership, and candor
Must currently be located in the NYC area and able to work in-office 3x/week
7+ years experience building and shipping production software as a full stack engineer, with deeper strength on the frontend side
Proven ability to lead projects and drive execution in a fast-moving startup environment
Experience mentoring engineers and helping raise the level of the team; prior formal people management is a plus, but not required
Deep expertise with modern JavaScript frameworks
Strong experience building data-rich, intuitive interfaces and thinking creatively about how to make complex information clear and actionable
Experience building backend services and working with Python-based systems or similar
Comfort with cloud platforms (preferably GCP), CI/CD workflows, and performance monitoring
Forward-thinking about how AI is changing product development and UI/UX – whether that’s experimenting with AI-powered interfaces, incorporating LLMs into workflows, or building AI-native products
Must be AI-forward and actively using AI tools / LLMs to increase leverage and engineering efficiency
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in cross-functional settings with design, product, and business stakeholders
Strong technical judgment and the ability to influence direction without unnecessary process or hierarchy
Nice to Have
Prior people management experience in a hands-on startup environment
Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases
Experience building analytics products, data-heavy applications, or complex B2B workflows
Founding engineer or early-stage startup experience
Experience designing dynamic, adaptive interfaces for AI, analytics, or workflow products
Exposure to the AI / LLM ecosystem or interest in large-scale model behavior
Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities
