This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Manager, Platform in California (USA).

This role is responsible for leading the strategy and execution of the foundational platform that supports multiple products and teams. You will define what to build and how to evolve core components such as integrations, permissioning, and collaborative sheets, ensuring a seamless and scalable customer experience. Collaborating closely with engineering, design, product, marketing, and customer-facing teams, you will translate complex technical requirements into intuitive, reliable solutions. This position offers the opportunity to shape long-term product strategy while navigating fast-paced, high-impact environments. Ideal candidates are highly analytical, customer-focused, and capable of communicating technical concepts to diverse audiences. This role blends hands-on technical insight with strategic leadership to drive platform success across multiple products.

Accountabilities:
• Own and evolve the platform’s core components, including permissions, integrations, and collaborative sheets.
• Partner with engineering and design teams to ensure scalable, reliable, and extensible platform architecture.
• Translate customer and internal stakeholder insights into actionable product roadmaps and priorities.
• Maintain focus on delivering a simple, intuitive, and high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across product, marketing, and customer success to align on goals and deliverables.
• Analyze product-generated data and competitive trends to inform platform decisions and enhancements.
• Mentor and guide team members in best practices for product development and platform management.

Requirements

 • 6–8+ years of experience in product management or product development, ideally with platform ownership experience.
• Strong technical understanding, capable of working closely with engineering teams and diving into technical details.
• Excellent communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and drive product strategy.
• Degree in a technical field or equivalent professional experience.
• Self-starter mindset with a bias toward action and ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
• Bonus points for experience with AI agents, coding experience (React, TypeScript, Go), domain expertise in audit, assurance, or accounting, or an MBA or equivalent professional experience.
