This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead, Product Data Scientist in the United States.

The Lead, Product Data Scientist will be responsible for translating complex data into actionable insights that shape product strategy and drive measurable impact. In this role, you will partner with senior product leadership to design predictive and causal models, develop experimentation frameworks, and inform company-level decisions. You will work cross-functionally to set scalable analytics standards, build self-service tools, and guide product teams in leveraging data to improve user engagement, health outcomes, and business KPIs. This role combines deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to influence product roadmaps and enterprise-wide decisions. Accountabilities:
  • Serve as the primary analytics partner for senior product leadership, providing insights that shape product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Design, implement, and evaluate A/B and multivariate experiments with rigorous statistical methods.
  • Develop predictive and causal models to forecast feature impact, user engagement, and health outcomes.
  • Build self-service dashboards, analytics frameworks, and reusable libraries to empower teams with actionable data.
  • Translate analytical findings into executive-level narratives, presentations, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to optimize analytics pipelines and ensure technical excellence.
  • Coach and raise data fluency among product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • 5–8+ years of experience leading product analytics or data science initiatives in SaaS, healthcare, or consumer tech.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) for analysis and modeling.
  • Strong understanding of statistical inference, hypothesis testing, and causal modeling.
  • Experience with experimentation platforms and product analytics tools (Amplitude, Mixpanel, Heap, Pendo).
  • Proven track record influencing product and company-level decisions using data.
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience building scalable analytics frameworks, KPI definitions, and measurement standards.
  • Preferred: healthcare or digital health experience, machine learning for personalization, journey analytics, or health outcomes measurement.
