What You’ll Do

  • Provide guidance, training, and support to the HAH Support Team and habilitation providers.
  • Act as a liaison between HAH Support Specialists and leadership, sharing insights and feedback.
  • Lead habilitation trainings for providers and families, both in-person and via Zoom.
  • Support families and caregivers with habilitation goal progress, teaching strategies, and skill-building.
  • Collaborate in team meetings and contribute to department growth and quality standards.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, program oversight, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Serve as a role model in teaching independent living, social, and adaptive skills to members in home and community-based settings.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

· At least 1-year experience in the Habilitation Support Specialist role or equivalent.

· Must be at least 18 years of age.

· Satisfactory background check.

· Able to acquire a DPS fingerprint clearance card.


PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED

· A degree in education, special education, child development, psychology, behavior analysis, social work, or counseling in addition to two (2) years of full-time experience in habilitation services, behavioral therapy, behavior coaching or behavior analysis

· Bilingual – Spanish & English

· Classroom training experience
