This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Engineer / Senior Lead Engineer, Foundry in the United States.

In this role, you will work at the intersection of technology, operations, and investment strategy, directly embedding with business teams to create impactful software solutions. You will design, develop, and deploy tools, dashboards, and automation workflows that improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance portfolio performance. This is a hands-on engineering role where you will write code, integrate data pipelines, and implement analytics solutions while collaborating closely with asset managers, property operations staff, and leadership teams. You will leverage AI and automation to optimize processes and provide actionable insights. The position requires technical expertise, business acumen, and the ability to translate complex problems into practical, scalable solutions in a fast-paced environment. You will also measure and iterate on outcomes to ensure continuous business impact.

Accountabilities

  • Work directly with property managers, asset managers, and finance staff to identify inefficiencies and data gaps.
  • Rapidly prototype, develop, and deploy scripts, dashboards, automations, and integrations to solve real-time business problems.
  • Integrate platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Yardi, Zendesk, Excel/Sheets, and custom databases into unified workflows.
  • Build models and analytical tools for rent roll forecasting, delinquency tracking, CapEx planning, and maintenance cost monitoring.
  • Apply AI and automation to summarize tenant communications, flag high-risk accounts, and optimize leasing and maintenance workflows.
  • Track and measure the impact of technical solutions, ensuring tangible improvements in business operations.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating requirements into practical, scalable solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or applied analytics.
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry or Gotham.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with familiarity in APIs, ETL pipelines, and optionally PySpark.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical solutions in business terms.
  • Capability to prioritize, organize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Competencies in critical thinking, logical problem solving, and goal-oriented execution.
