We are seeking a seasoned DevOps leader to drive strategic initiatives and oversee the design, deployment, and optimization of infrastructure and software delivery pipelines. In this role, you will lead a team of DevOps engineers, implement best practices for CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure automation, and ensure high-quality, scalable, and secure deployment processes. You will collaborate closely with development and operations teams to remove bottlenecks, standardize workflows, and implement cutting-edge DevOps solutions. This hands-on leadership position offers the opportunity to influence technology strategy, mentor engineers, and contribute to the growth of a high-performing DevOps organization in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.


  • Accountabilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of DevOps engineers, providing technical guidance and career development.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of DevOps principles, best practices, and automation across the organization.
  • Oversee containerized application deployments using Docker and orchestration platforms such as Docker Swarm and ECS.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines leveraging tools like GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, and Jenkins.
  • Manage code repositories, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and related DevOps tooling using CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK.
  • Ensure robust monitoring, logging, and security solutions for applications and infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows, troubleshoot deployment issues, and support strategic planning.
  • Continuously improve DevOps processes, documenting procedures and contributing to organizational knowledge.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, software development, system administration, or related fields.
  • Hands-on expertise with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Docker Swarm, ECS), CI/CD tools, and Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).
  • Strong understanding of DevOps practices and implementation across the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Proficiency with scripting and automation tools (Python, Bash, Ansible, Terragrunt).
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and security tools.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and mentoring skills, with proven ability to lead a team of engineers.
  • Ability to drive strategic DevOps initiatives and represent the team in executive-level discussions.
  • Preferred experience: Kubernetes orchestration, cloud-native application deployment, Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio, Linkerd), leading large-scale DevOps transformations.
