This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Landscape Architect in the United States.

This role offers an opportunity to shape and implement sustainable landscape and environmental design projects across public and private sectors. The Landscape Architect will contribute to ecosystem restoration, high-performance landscapes, community planning, and green infrastructure initiatives. The position involves designing vibrant and resilient spaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to meet project goals. Candidates will work in a flexible environment, with the option to work remotely or on-site for short project visits. This role emphasizes creativity, sustainability, and technical expertise to deliver innovative, high-quality design solutions. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities while fostering collaboration.

Accountabilities

·         Lead and contribute to the design and planning of landscape, urban, and environmental projects, including ecosystem restoration and high-performance landscapes.

·         Support master planning, community engagement, and green infrastructure projects.

·         Prepare conceptual designs, detailed plans, construction documents, and visualizations using AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and hand rendering techniques.

·         Collaborate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within scope.

·         Maintain high standards for sustainability, resilience, and environmental stewardship across all projects.

·         Contribute to project management activities, including scheduling, budgeting, and coordination of multidisciplinary teams.

·         Participate in site visits and meetings to oversee project progress and ensure design integrity.

Requirements

·         Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Environmental Planning, Sustainability, Urban/Regional Planning, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.

·         Entry-level candidates should demonstrate strong design, communication, and presentation skills; mid-level candidates require 3+ years of relevant experience; senior-level candidates require 6+ years and project management experience.

·         Licensure or willingness to pursue licensure is preferred.

·         Experience on federal projects and ecosystem restoration initiatives is a plus.

·         Proficiency with AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, and hand rendering is preferred.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and attention to detail.

·         Ability to work independently in a flexible, remote-friendly environment.

·         Located within or willing to travel to project sites in the mid-Atlantic region (Washington, DC area preferred).

·         Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to complete background checks as required.
