WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TEAM MEMBER WITH GOVERNMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE (LOCAL / TRIBAL / STATE / FEDERAL). IF YOU HAVE THAT EXPERIENCE IN ADDITION TO SALESFORCE SKILLS, PLEASE ENSURE IT IS CLEAR ON YOUR RESUME.
What do we mean by governmental public health? We're looking for people who have worked directly for a public health agency: a local health department, tribal health organization, state health department, or federal public health agency like CDC or HRSA. We require this because there's no substitute for the lived experience of navigating government systems, understanding the constraints public health staff face, and developing genuine empathy for the people doing this work. That empathy shapes how we build solutions.
SALESFORCE EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE. We are looking for candidates who have hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform, not those looking to learn Salesforce from scratch.
Compensation Note: If a salary range is listed for this position, please note that we will be offering at the starting point of the band. We cover 100% of your health insurance!
We're seeking a Junior Salesforce Developer who brings more than technical skills. We need someone who understands public health and can translate that understanding into solutions that actually work for health department staff.
This role is about building technology that fits how public health actually operates. Your background in public health means you'll understand why a disease investigator needs to access data a certain way, or why a reporting workflow has to account for multiple jurisdictions. You won't just write code to spec. You'll build solutions that make sense because you've lived the work.
You'll be part of a collaborative team working on our PH360 platform and client implementations. You'll learn from senior developers and architects who are invested in your growth, while contributing your own public health expertise to help the team build better solutions. This isn't a role where you'll be coding alone in a corner. You'll be pairing with teammates, participating in design discussions, and helping ensure what we build truly serves our clients.
If you've ever looked at a public health technology system and thought "I could build something better," this is your opportunity.
You'll be part of an Agile Release Train (ART) that follows SAFe principles. This means:
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Willingness to adhere to our no-drug workplace policy. You must agree to undergo eVerify for employment status at hiring.
No 3rd Party Recruiters.
We value initiative. If you're genuinely interested in this role, show us. (However, please do not use the "Schedule a Meeting" feature on our website. You will be disqualified.) We notice candidates who take the extra step to express real interest. Demonstrate the value that you will add to F&T Labs.
At Flourish and Thrive Labs, we believe in the unique value each candidate brings. We encourage applications from diverse backgrounds and experiences, even if you don't meet all listed qualifications
