Position Overview

This position reports to the Director of Engineering, DevOps & Data Engineering; it assists in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data processing pipelines and supports data quality, testing, and team collaboration.


In this role, you will be joining a team of data engineers and data scientists. You’ll be responsible for assisting in designing, building, and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS services such as EMR, MWAA Airflow, ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift. Day-to-day activities range from writing Python code, implementing data validations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot pipeline issues, and participating in testing, monitoring, and validation of data workflows.


This is a fully remote position, with occasional visits to our Manhattan workspace in NYC.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data processing pipelines (ETL/ELT) using AWS services such as EMR, MWAA Airflow, ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS Glue, and Amazon Redshift.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to support new features, improvements, and troubleshooting of existing data workflows.
  • Participate in testing, monitoring, and validation to ensure the quality and reliability of data pipelines.
  • Document data pipeline processes and share knowledge within the team.
