Junior Accounts Receivable Accountant (Remote from US)

The Junior Accounts Receivable Accountant plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely management of cash, invoicing, and collections. This position supports the Finance and Accounting team by overseeing payment applications, tracking accounts, and maintaining detailed financial records. The role requires collaboration with Sales and Legal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations. Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. • Manage payment applications and resolve open Accounts Receivable balances related to company accounts and credit card transactions.
• Collaborate with Sales to monitor AR activity, identify issues, and communicate concerns regarding customer accounts.
• Coordinate with Legal to prepare and issue collection notices when necessary.
• Maintain and update the company credit card and transaction trackers daily.
• Reconcile open reservations and financial data to ensure consistency and accuracy.
• Generate, post, and distribute invoices and journal entries in a timely and accurate manner.
• Support vendor setup and other administrative accounting tasks.
• Run daily bank activities and perform additional accounting duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of accounting or internship experience preferred; alternatively, 5 years of full-cycle Accounts Receivable experience in hospitality or property management.
• Strong knowledge of Excel, including advanced functions such as pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
• Experience with Power BI is highly desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and professional communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate across teams.
