Jr. Systems Engineer

This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the deployment and support of advanced AI solutions in healthcare. The Junior Systems Engineer will work closely with medical and technical teams to ensure seamless installation, integration, and ongoing performance of AI-based imaging software. This position involves direct customer interaction, technical troubleshooting, and process improvement initiatives, providing a hands-on role in delivering life-changing technologies. Candidates will gain exposure to cloud and on-premises environments, DevOps practices, and scripting, while collaborating with a team dedicated to enhancing healthcare outcomes. The role emphasizes both technical aptitude and strong communication skills to effectively support diverse clients and stakeholders.

Accountabilities

·         Prepare, perform, and maintain customer installations of AI medical imaging software, ensuring smooth integration with existing IT infrastructure.

·         Gather and document customer requirements and installation environment details to optimize deployments.

·         Monitor installations and respond to technical issues in a timely manner.

·         Provide expert support and guidance to customers and partners, troubleshooting complex problems.

·         Follow standard operating procedures and contribute to refining workflows for improved efficiency and customer experience.

·         Participate in on-call rotations as needed to support critical customer needs.

Requirements

·         Degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field.

·         Basic understanding of networking and security concepts.

·         Hands-on experience with Linux, including shell scripting and software installation/maintenance.

·         Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

·         Self-starting, proactive, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.

·         Attention to detail with high accuracy in technical tasks.

·         Ability to manage customer relations in a complex, technical environment.

·         Preferred: experience with Bash or Python scripting, Docker deployments, medical imaging standards (DICOM, PACS), Python development, DevOps methodologies, cloud and on-premises deployments, and writing software tests.
