Join a mission-driven education technology organization where data accuracy, financial integrity, and supply chain visibility play a critical role in delivering learning products to millions of students. This role sits at the intersection of inventory management, finance, and supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple systems and third-party logistics providers. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, identifying discrepancies, and driving process improvements that enhance operational efficiency. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will support financial reconciliation, audit readiness, and system optimization initiatives. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and highly analytical, with strong emphasis on automation and continuous improvement. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex data and operational challenges at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Monitor and enhance inventory control processes across multiple third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses and internal systems.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve synchronization issues between ERP systems (such as NetSuite) and warehouse management systems to ensure data accuracy.
  • Oversee inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, shipments, adjustments, and cycle counts.
  • Support physical inventory counts, variance investigations, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends in shrinkage, accuracy, excess stock, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate with finance, supply chain, and manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and reduce operational silos.
  • Support internal and external audit requirements, including SOX compliance and inventory control documentation.
  • Investigate complex inventory variances related to multi-location transfers, builds, and adjustments.
  • Maintain and improve SOPs, control frameworks, and reporting structures for inventory management.
  • Leverage automation tools and analytics platforms to streamline reporting and improve operational efficiency.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on incomplete or complex data sets.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in inventory control, supply chain operations, internal audit, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or similar) and warehouse management systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
  • Strong understanding of internal controls, SOX compliance, and audit processes.
  • Experience with vendor reconciliation and troubleshooting inventory discrepancies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work with ambiguous or incomplete data while producing actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with BI and data tools such as SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, Alteryx, or Google Apps Script.
  • Automation mindset with experience improving or replacing manual processes through scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $80,000 annually.
  • Annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental health coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer contributions.
  • Paid time off, parental leave, and additional wellness benefits.
  • Professional development programs and learning opportunities.
  • Flexible, remote-first work environment.
  • Access to advanced tools and analytics platforms supporting modern finance operations.
  • Inclusive, mission-driven culture focused on innovation and continuous improvement.
