Intern - IT Infrastructure Development Operations

As an IT Infrastructure Development Operations Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in implementing automation solutions and supporting the delivery of robust, scalable systems. You will collaborate closely with senior DevOps and IT engineers to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and contribute to infrastructure projects that improve operational efficiency. This role provides exposure to cloud technologies, automation tools, and software development lifecycle principles, helping you build foundational skills in DevOps, site reliability, and IT operations. Ideal candidates are eager to learn, capable of problem-solving, and excited to participate in a fast-paced, technical environment.

• Accountabilities
• Assist in troubleshooting technical problems in cloud and on-premise environments, including AWS-based systems.
• Automate installation, configuration, and updates for software and hardware components.
• Document technical solutions and communicate findings effectively across teams.
• Utilize and support DevOps tools such as Jira, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
• Identify repetitive tasks and work with senior team members to implement automation solutions.
• Participate in triaging workflows, redundancy planning, and recovery testing.
• Support continuous integration and deployment processes (CI/CD) to enhance operational efficiency.

• Requirements
• At least 1 year of experience in software engineering, systems administration, or IT operations.
• Basic understanding of networking, server administration, and Linux system internals.
• Familiarity with container technologies and orchestration layers (Docker, ECS, ECR).
• Exposure to CI/CD processes, automated testing, and cloud services (AWS, including ECS & EC2).
• Knowledge of programming or scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with version control tools and issue tracking (GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and contribute in a collaborative technical environment.
