Accountabilities:

Design, build, and maintain API-first and event-driven integrations across multiple platforms, systems, and services.
Develop AI-enabled workflows and enable seamless interaction between AI services, applications, and backend systems.
Rapidly connect internal and third-party systems to support prototyping, proof-of-concepts, and new product experimentation.
Build scalable data pipelines that support real-time processing, automation, and system interoperability.
Collaborate with product, engineering, and leadership teams to translate ideas into functional, production-ready systems.
Support architecture decisions for distributed systems, microservices, and cloud-native solutions.
Continuously improve integration performance, reliability, and scalability across the ecosystem.

Requirements:

5–8+ years of experience in backend, platform, or integration engineering roles.
Strong experience with REST APIs, microservices architecture, and distributed systems design.
Proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Node.js, or Go.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with event-driven architecture, messaging systems, queues, or streaming technologies.
Experience integrating AI services, third-party APIs, and experimental backend systems quickly and effectively.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Highly resourceful, adaptable, and execution-oriented with strong collaboration skills.
