This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of DeepHealth. We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Administrator in Massachusetts (USA).

This role offers the opportunity to manage and optimize an organization’s IT infrastructure across public cloud, on-premises systems, and containerized environments. The ideal candidate will ensure stability, security, and scalability of technology operations while supporting business growth. You will handle cloud deployments, virtualization, Kubernetes clusters, storage management, and backup/recovery processes. Collaboration with development, operations, and security teams is key, and you will have the chance to implement infrastructure improvements, optimize resources, and document best practices. This is a hands-on role where technical expertise and problem-solving skills will directly impact operational performance and technology reliability.

Accountabilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, monitoring performance, security, and cost efficiency.
  • Administer and optimize virtualized environments with VMware, Hyper-V, or KVM, including routine updates and patches.
  • Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, automate application deployment and scaling, and ensure cluster health and security.
  • Maintain physical and virtual servers, performing updates, configurations, and troubleshooting system issues.
  • Manage storage solutions (SAN, NAS, cloud), monitor performance, and implement disaster recovery strategies.
  • Develop and maintain backup and recovery plans, testing procedures to ensure data protection and compliance.
  • Monitor infrastructure capacity, plan upgrades, and optimize resource allocation to support growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures for internal use.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to support infrastructure needs and provide status updates.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in infrastructure administration or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
  • Solid understanding of Linux and Windows server administration.
  • Familiarity with storage management and best practices.
  • Experience in backup and recovery planning and execution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, VMware Certified Professional, CKA) are a plus.
