Accountabilities:
  • Manage inbound health and safety calls involving both human and animal exposure concerns, delivering professional and empathetic support.
  • Collect complete caller demographics, incident details, and relevant case information while maintaining highly accurate records in internal databases.
  • Provide approved first-aid and product safety guidance based on established protocols without offering diagnoses or treatment advice.
  • Identify situations requiring escalation and coordinate promptly with senior staff or on-duty specialists according to notification guidelines.
  • Follow up with callers when needed to confirm resolution and ensure no ongoing health concerns remain.
  • Monitor recurring issues, product trends, or emerging risks and communicate observations to internal teams.
  • Maintain quality standards, compliance expectations, and a strong customer-service mindset in every interaction.
  • Participate in ongoing training and continuing education to remain current on procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • EMT, Paramedic, Veterinary Technician qualification, equivalent clinical background, or current enrollment toward an advanced medical degree.
  • Active license or certification aligned with credentials is preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare support, emergency response, poison control, call center operations, or medical information environments is advantageous.
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex medical or safety information clearly to non-experts.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette, active listening ability, and calm decision-making under pressure.
  • Solid written communication skills with strong attention to detail for documentation accuracy.
  • Comfortable using computer systems, databases, and keyboarding tools efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Availability for rotating schedules, primarily second shift, including weekends and some holidays.
