Implementation Specialist - Fully remote (US)

The Implementation Specialist will play a critical role in ensuring successful deployment and integration of software solutions for clients across public sector organizations. This role involves translating complex business and technical requirements into actionable implementation plans, developing data integration and reporting solutions, and providing hands-on support throughout the project lifecycle. The specialist will collaborate with internal teams and clients to configure, test, and optimize software solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives. Strong problem-solving, technical expertise, and effective communication are essential for translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. The role supports remote work but requires occasional travel for client engagement and project delivery.

• Develop deep knowledge of software products and potential configuration solutions for clients.
• Analyze client procurement and business processes to provide software configuration and design recommendations.
• Design, document, develop, and test data integration, migration, and reporting solutions.
• Translate user requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct client product testing and provide technical support and root cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to project deadlines, standards, and quality levels while communicating risks and blockers.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to deliver seamless implementation outcomes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a business or system analyst.
• 2+ years of experience with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and XML.
• Familiarity with multiple SDLC methodologies including Agile, iterative, and waterfall.
• Knowledge of tools such as MapForce, Jaspersoft, and DBeaver is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with data migration processes, APIs, ETLs, flat files, XML, and transformation tools.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and solve complex problems.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and located in one of the specified states.
