Hours for position: 8:30am - 5:30pm EST


Job Summary: 

The Implementation Specialist role is responsible for the implementation phase in the customer lifecycle and ensures RoadRunner customers are properly onboarded and our solution is implemented and launched. This role is also responsible for consulting and implementing customers on our strategic recycling and cost savings plans. This stage is incredibly important in the success of our clients, as the RoadRunner integration is the foundation of a successful partnership.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead the timely and successful onboarding execution according to customer needs and objectives
  • Manage day-to-day communication and collaboration with customers and internal vendor, service and operations teams during the strategy implementation process
  • Partner with Customers to understand their business issues and related needs. Utilize broad knowledge to recommend Diversion (Recycling) and Brokering (Savings) plans to RoadRunner customers where appropriate
  • Perform Broker and Diversion plan implementations to fit customer needs
  • Manage and update internal workflows to track customer activities and approvals    


Organizational Relationship:

  • Reports To: Senior Manager, Implementation
  • Direct Reports:  None
  • Interacts with: Customers, Customer Success Service teams, Account Strategists, Vendor Service and Implementation teams, Sales   

 

Skills and Experience:

  • Comfort with ambiguity, ability to act without having the whole picture using sound judgment and strong decision-making skills.  
  • 3 years experience in Operations, Account Management or Sales
  • Passionate about business results and quality, with a strong sense of accountability, metrics and ownership.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to grasp the tactical details.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, is dynamic, and can capture a group’s interest and maintain it as well as the ability to facilitate meetings with diverse and sometimes conflicting points of view.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, multi-task and effectively prioritize conflicting assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels and across all functions of the organization.
  • Proven ability to organize/manage multiple priorities coupled with the flexibility to quickly adapt to ever changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving.  Solid decision making in a timely manner.


Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
