The Implementation Manager will play a pivotal role in driving the success of fintech and banking partners by overseeing the full onboarding and integration lifecycle. This position requires a blend of technical knowledge, project management expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure seamless partner implementations from contract signature through go-live. You will act as the primary liaison between partners and internal teams, translating complex requirements into actionable deliverables while mitigating risks and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope. Beyond individual project management, you will contribute to scaling implementation frameworks, streamlining processes, and improving operational efficiency. Accountabilities:- Own the end-to-end implementation process for partners, from kickoff to go-live.
- Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables while identifying and mitigating risks.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for partners throughout the onboarding journey.
- Translate partner business and technical requirements into actionable tasks for internal teams.
- Guide partners through API integrations, file exchanges, testing, and validation.
- Coordinate user acceptance testing, production validation, and post-launch transition to relationship management.
- Create and maintain partner-facing documentation, playbooks, and governance processes.
- Contribute to improving onboarding frameworks, templates, and automation for scalability.
- Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to enhance the platform and partner experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 7+ years of experience in implementation management, client onboarding, or technical delivery within fintech, payments, BaaS, or banking.
- Familiarity with banking and fintech regulatory frameworks, including KYC and AML compliance.
- Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for technical, compliance, and executive audiences.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools such as Notion, Jira, Asana, Confluence, or Monday.
- Knowledge of payment rails (ACH, wires, RTP, card networks) and related funds and data flows.
- Technical aptitude with experience in API integrations, data mapping, and technical workflows.
- Ability to contribute to building scalable implementation frameworks with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
