At August Health, our mission is to empower the essential work of caring for our elders.
We achieve this by providing a modern operating platform and electronic health record (EHR) that enables senior living operators to deliver high-quality care with confidence.
Caregivers are the heart of senior living communities, embodying care, compassion, and well-being. Yet, they face increasing challenges—higher resident acuity, complex workflows, and staffing shortages. At August Health, we build tools that simplify their tasks, eliminate inefficiencies, and provide the insights they need to focus on what truly matters—caring for residents.
At August, we strive to live our values each day, in every interaction with our customers and with each other.
Be responsible – leave things better than you found them
Take ownership – be decisive and take action
Be ambitious – build something great
Keep an open mindset – communicate candidly and welcome new ideas
Be humble – celebrate each others’ successes and learn from our mistakes
Stay positive – assume best intent
This role is focused on a unique and critical moment in a customer’s lifecycle: growth and change.
In senior living, this often means:
An operator acquires a new community and needs to quickly bring it onto their existing systems and processes
A community transitions to a new operator, requiring operational, clinical, and financial systems to be reconfigured
An existing customer expands their use of August by adopting additional products or modules
These are not net-new implementations. Instead, you’ll be stepping into environments that are already live—often complex, highly customized, and evolving.
Success in this role requires the ability to:
Rapidly understand how a customer’s current system is configured (without having led the original implementation)
Apply that understanding to integrate new communities or products quickly and seamlessly
Operate with urgency while maintaining high quality and strong stakeholder alignment
As an Implementation Manager, Expansions & Transitions, you will be a strategic partner to our live customers as they grow, evolve, and scale their operations on August.
You will own rapid, high-impact implementations tied to acquisitions, operator transitions, and product expansions—ensuring new communities and services are seamlessly integrated into an already live environment.
Lead condensed, full-cycle implementations for acquisitions, operator transitions, and product expansions—delivering high-quality outcomes on accelerated timelines compared to standard deployments
Quickly assess and understand existing customer configurations, workflows, and data structures—identifying how best to extend and scale them to new communities or services
Serve as the main point of communication for customers during their transition to a new operator or adding of services, ensuring clear alignment between stakeholders and August teams across every product and every phase of implementation
Drive implementations that span multiple August products (Clinical, Billing, Operations, and beyond)—ensuring a cohesive, end-to-end solution rather than a siloed rollout
Develop and execute streamlined implementation project plans that balance speed with rigor in complex, multi-site environments
Act as a trusted advisor to C-suite leaders, department heads, and front-line staff, ensuring alignment across stakeholder groups and driving adoption at all levels
Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Go-To-Market teams to shape our implementation strategy and deliver exceptional outcomes
Identify and mitigate risks early, especially in situations with limited historical context, and proactively drive resolution. Lead data migrations, integrations, and configuration updates to ensure new communities are aligned with existing standards
Deliver engaging training sessions tailored to both corporate and community-based roles, enabling confident use of the platform
Standardize and scale processes, playbooks, and documentation to support efficient, repeatable enterprise rollouts
4+ years of experience in Implementation, or Program Management, preferably in enterprise SaaS or healthcare technology
Proven success managing fast-paced or time-sensitive implementations, ideally in environments with evolving scope or incomplete information
Experience working across or implementing multiple products or modules simultaneously, with a strong systems-level perspective
Ability to quickly absorb and synthesize existing system configurations, even without prior ownership or full historical context
Strong background in healthcare, senior living, or adjacent industries is highly preferred
Experience working across departments (e.g., operations, finance, clinical, IT) to deploy software solutions
Ability to translate business needs into technical and workflow requirements
Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage, influence, and build trust with diverse stakeholders—including C-level executives
Comfortable with ambiguity and change; able to create structure, make decisions, and move forward without perfect information
Familiarity with change management principles and adult learning best practices
