This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HVAC Technical Specialist based in United States.

This role serves as a technical expert supporting contractors, distributors, field technicians, and internal teams across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related product solutions.
You will provide advanced troubleshooting, technical guidance, and customer-focused support to resolve complex field challenges.
The position combines hands-on industry expertise with digital support tools, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will help improve customer experiences, strengthen product adoption, and contribute valuable field insights to business teams.
Working closely with engineering, product, sales, and operations stakeholders, you will influence continuous improvement initiatives.

Accountabilities:
  • Provide expert technical support for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, load management, and related products through multiple channels, including phone, email, chat, video conferencing, CRM platforms, and AI-assisted support tools.
  • Diagnose complex product, installation, commissioning, application, and performance issues while delivering accurate solutions and maintaining ownership through resolution.
  • Support contractors, distributors, service technicians, engineers, facility managers, and end users with system-level troubleshooting and application recommendations.
  • Analyze field conditions, equipment compatibility, installation practices, and operational requirements to identify root causes and recommend effective corrective actions.
  • Manage technical inquiries, warranty-related concerns, complaints, and performance issues while ensuring proper documentation and communication.
  • Develop and deliver technical training sessions, webinars, product education programs, and knowledge-sharing resources for customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Maintain and contribute to technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, FAQs, knowledge bases, and self-service support materials.
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to support product adoption, technical selling activities, customer demonstrations, and application reviews.
  • Monitor support trends, customer feedback, and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and provide actionable insights to engineering, quality, and product teams.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, root cause investigations, process optimization, and the development of scalable technical support solutions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of HVAC industry experience with strong knowledge of installation, service, troubleshooting, commissioning, and field applications.
  • Experience providing technical support, field service, training, or application assistance to contractors, distributors, technicians, or customers.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, indoor air quality products, refrigeration applications, condensate management, electrical systems, and related technologies.
  • Ability to interpret technical information, analyze problems, and provide practical solutions in real-world field environments.
  • Experience using CRM platforms, knowledge management systems, remote support tools, and digital communication platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and modern business technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, customer requests, and time-sensitive issues.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Preferred qualifications include an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, HVAC, construction management, or a related technical discipline.
  • HVAC certifications such as NATE, EPA, ICC, Master Electrician, Master Plumber, or equivalent industry credentials are a plus.
  • Experience with load management, energy management systems, building automation, AI-powered support tools, or technical training programs is preferred.
