About you

We’re building a dynamic team of hands-on HR professionals to support our growing workforce. We are hiring two HR Generalists to be collaborative, cross-functional members of the team, working together to ensure Onebrief has the people processes needed to thrive. Both roles will work with the Head of HR to support the full spectrum of HR activities, but each will have specific areas of ownership.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of HR experience, with expertise or interest in one or more focus areas.

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with a commitment to quality and detail.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially in a remote environment.

  • Familiarity with HR systems, tools, and best practices.

  • Knowledge of U.S. labor laws and compliance requirements.

  • Ability to own day-to-day tasks and operational processes while still thinking critically about long-term, scalable solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with a global workforce and knowledge of international employment practices.

  • Professional certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboarding: Own and optimize the onboarding process, ensuring new hires feel welcomed, prepared, and aligned with Onebrief’s mission.

  • Performance Management: Manage performance cycles, provide guidance to managers, and champion continuous feedback.

  • Employee Engagement: Develop and implement programs to boost engagement, foster a sense of belonging, and maintain a vibrant company culture.

  • HR Policies: Educate employees on policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company values.

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee inquiries, offering timely and empathetic support.

Focus area 2

This role will focus on the systems and processes that keep HR running smoothly and compliantly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation and Benefits: Work with finance on payroll processes and oversee employee benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Assist with annual compensation cycle.

  • HRIS Management: Maintain and optimize HR systems to streamline workflows, ensure data integrity, and produce meaningful reports. Assist with search and implementation for new HR tech.

  • HR Data and Analytics: Compile, analyze, and report HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions and strategic planning.

  • Compliance: Ensure HR practices align with labor laws and regulations, staying proactive with updates and audits.

  • Support process improvements to create efficient and scalable HR operations.
