Overview:
The Human Resources Coordinator will report to the Senior Human Resources Manager and will perform a variety of administrative and analytical functions to support all team members of Concert Health. The Human Resources Coordinator will act as the front line administrative support to all members of the People Team at Concert Health.
Responsibilities:
- Record Keeping: Update the HR System with employment records including compensation, position, and restructuring changes. Monitoring workflow changes to ensure policies and practices are being followed. Maintain all employee records to ensure full compliance and accuracy. Ensure all systems house the same information as the HRIS.
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Supports the onboarding and offboarding of employees. Closely following internal processes and procedures to ensure accuracy. Responsible for maintaining the onboarding process within the HRIS. Ensures compliance with all required new hire documents. Monitors equipment, access, and all documents to support both the onboarding and offboarding processes for employees. Facilitates new hire orientation and ensures an excellent onboarding experience.
- Employee Experience: Monitor and respond to all HR and Payroll emails. Manage the team inbox and escalate when necessary. Maintain the team calendar and update the company on all holidays and events.
- Benefits administration: Responsible for updating and auditing employment demographics within third-party systems such as carrier sites, HSA enrollments and contribution uploads, and Empower 401K. Support employees with benefits questions and life events. Support the team during annual open enrollment.
- Analytics: Create custom reports for organizational needs. Develop and complete monthly benefit reconciliations with all carriers against payroll. Take ownership of the Clinical Compensation Incentive Program processes and procedures. Analyzing data within systems, building applications, documents, custom fields, anticipating what may be needed for future growth.
- Payroll and Tax Compliance: Take ownership of the biweekly payroll processing. Complete tax reporting and payments due on a quarterly basis, and perform reconciliation against the Payroll and Tax system.
- Culture Champion: Help organize company culture events and maintain the culture calendar. Coordinate holiday celebrations and quarterly games nights. Maintain and administer the swag store. Drive and foster a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Additional Responsibilities: This role provides an opportunity to learn and grow in the field. There will be opportunities to take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned. These opportunities will provide exposure to the additional areas of human resources and will support the development of the individual filling the role.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related major (preferred); or equivalent experiences.
- Exposure to basic knowledge of HR and Payroll principles and best practices.
- 1-3 years of experience in HR Compliance, Deductions, and HRIS management preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and make sound decisions, with little daily direct supervision is required.
- Ability to work in a startup, everchanging environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and provide effective guidance to employees and managers.
- Critical Thinking and ability to pivot quickly, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Quick adaptability to learning new tasks, following procedures, and working independently.
- Experience with Rippling and/or other HR Systems is a plus.

Selection Process: Three Stages
- Qualified candidates will be scheduled for a 30-minute virtual interview to discuss their experience, qualifications, and base salary expectations, as well as to provide an overview of Concert Health.
- Following this, candidates who meet the necessary criteria will have a 45-minute virtual interview with our leadership team.
- Finally, those candidates who possess the required experience and qualifications will participate in a 30-minute virtual interview with the Senior Vice President of People.
