About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to support our growing team. This role will be responsible for recruiting support, onboarding & offboarding, HR administration, and employee engagement. We are open to both full-time and part-time candidates; however, part-time candidates must have significant experience to ensure efficiency within a limited schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruiting Support (40%)
Create and post job listings in Ashby.
Coordinate candidate and interview scheduling.
Update and maintain interview kits in Ashby.
Provide additional recruiting support as needed, particularly in the initial stabilization phase.
Onboarding & Offboarding (40%)
Act as the main point of contact for onboarding and offboarding processes.
Onboarding responsibilities include:
Draft offer letters and conduct background and reference checks.
Initiate onboarding project plans in Asana and assign tasks.
Set up new hires in BambooHR and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
Offboarding responsibilities include:
Draft termination letters.
Process terminations in BambooHR and other systems.
Create and manage offboarding project plans.
HR Administration (20%)
Process employee changes in BambooHR.
Generate reports as needed.
Validate monthly benefits enrollments.
Administer employee recognition programs.
Coordinate Town Hall and Lunch & Learn calendar invites.
Facilitate employee engagement activities (Teams Channel, Employee Appreciation, etc.).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree
2-5 years of experience as an HR Coordinator or Executive Assistant (EA) related responsibilities are a plus.
Experience in a start-up environment or the financial services industry
Familiarity with HR tools such as Ashby, BambooHR and LinkedIn Recruiter preferred.
Advanced skills in Google Suite, Microsoft Office and other online systems.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
Strong written and verbal communications skills.
Excellent analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and exceptional follow-through.
Self-motivated and able to work with little direct supervision.
