We want to help them go even further and we need your help!&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Key outcomes:</strong></span></p><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Exec stakeholders across departments are confident in day to day partnership and support, with appropriate escalations.&nbsp;</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Managers and employees across allocated departments feel supported and confident navigating day-to-day people processes, policies, and challenges.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Employee lifecycle moments — from onboarding to offboarding — are delivered smoothly, accurately, and with care.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Performance conversations and feedback processes are well-supported, timely, and aligned with Change.org’s values and practices.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Employee relations matters are handled thoughtfully and consistently, with appropriate escalation and partnership where needed.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>The most important core competencies for the role are:&nbsp;</strong></span></p><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Trusted Advisor:</strong> Able to build strong, supportive relationships with managers and employees, offering clear guidance grounded in empathy and fairness.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>HR Operations Excellence:</strong> Confident managing and executing people processes and systems accurately and consistently across the employee lifecycle.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Effective Communicator:</strong> Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to different audiences and handle sensitive topics with care.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Problem Solver:</strong> Solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to navigate ambiguity, troubleshoot issues, and escalate appropriately.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Collaboration &amp; Teamwork:</strong> Works well across teams and functions, contributing to a positive, connected People &amp; Talent team culture.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Adaptability &amp; Resilience:</strong> Comfortable working in a fast-changing, remote-first environment, balancing multiple priorities with flexibility and care.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Target experience:</strong></span></p><ul><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">3+ years of experience in a People-focused role, ideally as an HR Business Partner or similar.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Experience working in a remote-first, international, or European-focused environment.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Familiarity with key HR systems (e.g., Lattice, BambooHR, or similar).</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Demonstrated ability to support performance management processes, employee relations, and other core HR functions.</span></li><li style="font-size: 10pt;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">A plus: Experience with European HR operations, including knowledge of local employment laws, policies, and cultural nuances across multiple countries.</span></li></ul><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>Interested? Here's what you should know:</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>This is a 9 month fixed term role and we’re open to hiring in the US (Eastern Time only), UK or Germany.</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;"><strong>For candidates located in the US: </strong>We’re currently able to hire staff based in the following US locations: Alaska (AK), Arizona (AZ), California (CA), Connecticut (CT), District of Columbia (DC), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Illinois (IL), Iowa (IA), Kansas (KS), Maryland (MD), Massachusetts (MA), Minnesota (MN), Missouri (MO), New Jersey (NJ), New York (NY), North Carolina (NC), Oregon (OR), Pennsylvania (PA), Rhode Island (RI), Texas (TX), Vermont (VT), Virginia (VA), Washington (WA), Wisconsin (WI).&nbsp;</span></p><p><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Our compensation philosophy is based on pay equity. All of our salaries are determined before we launch a role – they are based on a predetermined salary scale, the level on that scale and the cost of labor for that location. In Germany, the annual salary of an HRBP is 74,500 EUR. In the UK, the annual salary of an HRBP is 67,500 EUR.
