HR Compliance Specialist

The HR Compliance Specialist will be responsible for managing key compliance programs, supporting workforce reporting activities, and ensuring HR processes align with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.

• Partner with global immigration vendors to support immigration services and compliance activities.
• Own recurring and ad hoc HR compliance reports, including AAP, EEO-1, ADA, VETS-4212, and state-mandated workforce reporting.
• Collaborate with HRIS teams to define reporting requirements, validate data accuracy, and maintain systems that support audit readiness.
• Maintain and update HR policies to ensure alignment with employment laws, regulations, and internal governance standards.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide guidance to HR leadership regarding required policy or process updates.
• Partner with Legal and HR stakeholders to identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance with employment laws, company policies, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure I-9 compliance and support employment verification processes.
• Develop and deliver compliance training programs for HR teams and communicate policy updates throughout the organization.
• Support compliance-related activities during organizational changes, including workforce reductions, acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support HR compliance initiatives.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced HR compliance professional with strong knowledge of employment regulations, reporting requirements, and workforce governance practices. They should be detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable managing complex compliance initiatives in a dynamic environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR Compliance or a related HR function.
• Experience with AAP/EEO reporting, federal contractor compliance, and employment regulations.
• Strong understanding of OFCCP, EEOC, ADA, and other applicable employment laws.
• Experience managing external vendors and compliance-related partnerships.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with sound judgment and professionalism.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and organizational levels.
• Adaptability and responsiveness to changing regulations, business priorities, and compliance requirements.
