We are seeking a dedicated Help Desk Support Consultant to provide top-tier technical support to a portfolio of clients across multiple industries. In this role, you will manage IT tickets, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and ensure seamless technology operations for end-users. You will work remotely, supporting clients both independently and in collaboration with cross-functional teams. This position offers exposure to diverse IT environments, from cloud platforms to network infrastructures, and provides an opportunity to develop expertise in modern IT service delivery while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Accountabilities

  • Manage IT support tickets and set clear expectations with clients on resolution timelines.
  • Support multiple clients and projects simultaneously, providing both remote and on-site assistance as needed.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain hardware, software, and network systems including PCs, servers, firewalls, switches, and peripherals.
  • Administer cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and hosted services.
  • Document work performed during client meetings, including follow-up actions, time tracking, and technical procedures.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored IT solutions.
  • Participate in onboarding new users, software licensing management, and IT inventory maintenance.
  • Support backup, disaster recovery, and security systems, ensuring operational continuity and compliance.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a Help Desk Support or similar IT support role.
  • Experience with Managed Service Providers (MSP) and multi-client IT support environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration (Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Intune) and Google Workspace.
  • Strong skills in Windows (8/10/11) and macOS installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with RMM and documentation tools (e.g., ConnectWise Command, IT Glue, Continuum RMM).
  • Knowledge of network setups, TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, and VLANs (SonicWall, Meraki, Cisco, Ubiquiti).
  • Experience with Windows Server (2016/2019), Active Directory, Group Policy, Hyper-V, and cloud technologies (AWS, M365, Google Workspace).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex tickets and escalations.
  • Excellent documentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
