This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Head of Supply, Operations based in the United States.

The Head of Supply, Operations will lead the strategy, systems, and processes that power marketplace growth by optimizing seller acquisition, onboarding, and supply expansion.
This strategic leadership role sits at the intersection of operations, analytics, technology, and sales enablement, with a focus on building scalable infrastructure for long-term growth.
You will design data-driven workflows, leverage automation and AI-powered tools, and create operational frameworks that improve efficiency across the supply organization.
The role requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, transforming complex marketplace insights into actionable initiatives.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to improve seller experiences, increase inventory availability, and strengthen marketplace performance.

Accountabilities:

The Head of Supply, Operations will own the operational foundation behind seller growth initiatives, ensuring teams have the processes, tools, insights, and incentives needed to scale efficiently. This role combines strategic planning, data analysis, process optimization, and technology enablement to drive marketplace expansion.

  • Design and manage the end-to-end seller acquisition funnel, from lead generation through onboarding and active product listing.
  • Build scalable sales and supply operations processes that improve lead velocity, conversion rates, and seller engagement.
  • Identify friction points within seller onboarding journeys and implement improvements to accelerate activation.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting frameworks that provide visibility into key supply metrics, including acquisition costs, conversion rates, listing activity, and marketplace health.
  • Create accurate supply growth forecasts by analyzing pipeline performance, historical trends, and operational data.
  • Monitor seller and listing quality metrics to improve marketplace liquidity, product availability, and pricing effectiveness.
  • Define, track, and communicate KPIs for sales and account management teams.
  • Develop and manage incentive programs, quotas, and performance structures that align team behaviors with business objectives.
  • Own CRM operations, ensuring data accuracy, automation opportunities, and efficient workflows for sales teams.
  • Create sales enablement resources, including playbooks, scripts, and competitive insights to improve team effectiveness.
  • Implement AI-powered automation, predictive analytics, and machine learning solutions to enhance sales operations and decision-making.
  • Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to continuously improve supply strategies and operational performance.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced operations leader with a strong background in marketplace growth, sales operations, analytics, and technology-driven process improvement. You should be comfortable translating complex data into clear strategies while building scalable systems in a fast-paced environment.

  • 7+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Supply Operations, Revenue Operations, or a related operational leadership role.
  • 2–3+ years of experience working within marketplace, platform, e-commerce, or supply-driven business models.
  • Strong understanding of seller acquisition strategies and the challenges involved in growing a platform-based supply ecosystem.
  • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable business strategies.
  • Experience building dashboards, forecasting models, KPI frameworks, and performance reporting systems.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered sales tools, automation workflows, predictive analytics, or machine learning applications.
  • Ability to connect technical solutions with business outcomes and operational improvements.
  • Experience designing sales incentive programs, compensation structures, quotas, and performance initiatives.
  • Strong CRM expertise, including data management, workflow optimization, and automation.
  • Builder mentality with the ability to move between strategic planning and detailed operational execution.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence teams across functions.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments while creating structure and scalable processes.
