CyberNut is the all-in-one human risk management, cybersecurity education and threat detection platform built exclusively for K–12 schools. We help districts protect staff and students from cyber threats, meet compliance requirements, and raise digital literacy through AI-powered simulations, real-world phishing detection, and role-based training.
You will be the strategic driver of CyberNut’s product direction while staying deeply hands-on.
Own CyberNut’s product vision, strategy, and 1–3 year roadmap
Turn customer insights, market data, and competitive intel into product bets
Define how CyberNut wins vs. legacy cybersecurity platforms
Partner with CEO + CTO to shape long-term innovation and category leadership
Lead interviews with IT Directors, CTOs, security admins, and K–12 CISOs
Develop a deep understanding of K–12 workflows, constraints, and threat patterns
Translate discovery into crisp product requirements
Write PRDs, define requirements, and manage prioritization
Drive delivery with engineering through clear scoping and decision-making
Establish predictable development cycles and cross-team alignment
Collaborate with Sales + Marketing on positioning, differentiation, and narrative
Own messaging for new features, product lines, and releases
Translate technical capabilities into compelling customer value
Support launch plans, sales enablement, and competitive intelligence
Ensure the roadmap tells a cohesive, market-facing story
Align Engineering, Sales, CS, and Support around the roadmap
Communicate what’s shipping, why it matters, and how it impacts customers
Build trust across teams by being transparent, structured, and customer-first
Define product KPIs and run a data-driven product review cadence
Measure adoption, friction, and engagement — then act quickly
Ship AI-powered cybersecurity features that set a new standard for K–12
7–12 years in Product Management, with direct ownership of product strategy
EITHER:
Strong cybersecurity product management experience (human risk management, email security, phishing simulation, detection/response, incident response, or security awareness),
OR
Strong EdTech product management experience, ideally building tools for K–12 districts, teachers, or administrators
Demonstrated experience in Product Marketing: positioning, messaging, launches, and sales enablement
A proven 0 → 1 builder comfortable with ambiguity and fast iteration
Exceptional communication, structured thinking, and customer obsession
Technical fluency — able to debate architecture and constraints without needing to code
