About the Role

We are fundamentally reimagining how the insurance industry can leverage modern technology, combining first-principles thinking with real-world insights from our existing product to improve agency operations, customer engagement, and growth. As the Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our product strategy, leading cross-functional collaboration, and bringing innovative solutions to market that serve our customers and accelerate our business.


This is a high-impact leadership role for a product visionary who thrives on challenging assumptions, rethinking complex problems from the ground up, and translating them into simple, powerful experiences. You will own the full product lifecycle with the end goal of driving our continued growth while helping to reshape the future of insurance technology.

What You’ll Do

  • Leadership & Hands-On Strategy: As Head of Product at Veruna, you will both define the vision and roll up your sleeves to execute it. You'll drive a bold product direction that aligns with our long-term business strategy and customer needs, while actively participating in building and shipping features. You'll translate vision into clear, actionable roadmaps and then take ownership of bringing them to life. We believe great leaders stay connected to the craft - you'll foster a product culture that values getting into the details, continuous experimentation, and the thrill of shipping impactful solutions. This is for someone who wants to lead strategy while maintaining the joy of building products customers love.
  • Roadmap Ownership & Market Positioning: You will own the end-to-end product roadmap, integrating insights from customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis. By balancing short-term deliverables with long-term strategic investments, you'll ensure every product decision supports our growth and ability to stand out in the market.
  • Customer-Centric Execution: You’ll lead discovery efforts to deeply understand user pain points, ensure product-market fit, and deliver intuitive, impactful experiences to our customers. Work closely with UX and turn insights into seamless customer journeys and track product success.
  • Operational Excellence & Scalability: You will architect and evolve product development processes that enable speed, clarity, and scale. Through structured planning and performance tracking, you’ll ensure teams are aligned and delivering with confidence. Your leadership will remove blockers, improve cross-team velocity, and enable scalable, high-quality execution as we grow.

What You’ll Need

  • 8+ years of product management experience, including 3+ years in a senior to director-level leadership role
  • Demonstrated success owning product strategy and delivery in a B2B SaaS environment
  • Deep product intuition, paired with analytical rigor and sound judgment
  • Technical depth to collaborate effectively with engineering on architectural decisions and trade-offs, while also possessing excellent communication skills to translate complex requirements into clear insights for stakeholders at all levels - from engineering discussions to enterprise client interactions
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and lead with influence in a fast-paced, remote-first environment
  • Passion for building high-performing teams and nurturing talent through mentorship, feedback, and professional development
  • Bonus If You Have: Insurtech experience and/or familiarity with Salesforce

  • Remote-first environment and ability to work anywhere within 3 hours of EST

The pay range for this role is $200,000 - $240,000. Within this range, base pay will be determined based on relevant experience, education, training/certifications, skillset, and work location.
