This leadership role is responsible for shaping and scaling the partner ecosystem that supports core products, operational reliability, and business growth. You will drive partnership strategy, manage high-impact vendor relationships, and influence product and operational priorities across cross-functional teams. As a key member of the Product Leadership team, you will oversee a team of partnership and relationship managers, ensuring alignment with business objectives and measurable outcomes. The role requires strong strategic judgment, commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex negotiations while fostering long-term partner value. Your work will directly impact how quickly new products are launched, how efficiently operations run, and the overall member experience. This is a high-visibility role with real influence over platform strategy and execution.


Accountabilities:
  • Develop and execute partnership strategies for high-impact vendors and financial partners, ensuring alignment with product and business priorities
  • Manage end-to-end partnership lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluation, diligence, onboarding, and ongoing performance management
  • Lead commercial negotiations for complex agreements, collaborating closely with Legal and Finance teams
  • Resolve partner-related issues to maintain operational continuity and meet strategic objectives
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Risk, Legal, and Operations to launch integrations and maximize partner value
  • Build, mentor, and guide a team of partnership and relationship managers, setting priorities, KPIs, and career development plans
  • Continuously evaluate and evolve existing partnerships to optimize performance, economics, and strategic fit

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in partnerships, vendor management, business development, product, or corporate strategy
  • Deep expertise in fintech or banking products (e.g., consumer credit, payments, deposit accounts, BIN sponsorships)
  • Proven experience scaling product partnerships and managing relationships with issuing banks and program managers
  • Strong track record of negotiating multi-million-dollar commercial agreements
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and make strategic decisions in complex environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and program execution skills, managing multiple initiatives in parallel
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and cross-functional teams
  • Strategic thinker who balances high-level vision with attention to operational detail
