Role SummaryÂ
Rowan Digital Infrastructure is looking for a Program Leader to drive the work of the Project Management team. This role requires a strategic and creative leader who can develop and implement best practices and creative solutions in project management, helping the organization grow and scale effectively to meet its ambitious goals. This role will entail collaboratively working with Rowan’s leadership, the Project Management team and Project Captains to develop and implement a framework, systems and processes for efficient project management including project tracking, vendor management, project documentation, budgeting, and schedules to drive tangible business value through effective and efficient project management. A successful candidate will have experience managing high performing teams and a strong track record building and scaling project management functions in real estate development, preferably in the data center field. In addition, the Program Manager may be involved in other activities as necessary including project evaluations, due diligence reviews, company planning, budgeting and project coordination alongside the project teams. Â
The Program Manager is a critical part of the team, working closely with the project teams, leadership, and other internal teams to ensure efficient execution of Rowan’s Projects. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and managerial skills, strong project management skills, comfort with ambiguity, comfort with having direct conversations, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.  Â

Compensation: $160-$200K - Offers Bonus
Essential Responsibilities Â
Support the growth and scalability of Rowan by helping establish good project diligence and reporting practices and improving processes and systems as we scale
Leading and driving the success of the Project Management Team to ensure high standards of project execution across Rowan’s Site Origination and Development pipeline
Coordinate across Rowan’s functional departments foster collaboration, project execution and to ensure project transitions take place in support of Rowan’s goals and project execution schedules
Ensure that the PM team’s weekly activities and priorities are in support of strategic project execution priorities
Provide accountability, coaching and support to the Project Management team, fostering a culture of professional growth, learning and continuous process improvement
Continuously assess Project Management workstreams and SOPs and work with stakeholders to improve and implement them
Work with Origination and Development Team Leads to ensure adequate and timely staffing of Project Managers in support of project execution including due diligence, vendor management, schedule management, project tracking, task management, effective meeting management, documentation and budgeting
Lead the documentation of Rowan’s Project Management practices and standards and regularly evaluate and revise as needed to support Rowan’s growth
Perform regular project audits and work with the project teams to ensure project documentation, setup, tracking, vendor contracts, change orders, and reporting is conducted consistently and in accordance with Rowan’s standard practices
Trains, supports and coaches Project Managers in support of team members professional development and Rowan’s execution goals
Education, Skills, and ExperienceÂ
A minimum of 7-9 years of experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in the execution of large-scale capital development projectsÂ
Proven ability to collaborate, motivate, and drive team performance
Skilled in scaling program functions by implementing robust systems, processes, and tools for efficient management and reporting
Proficient in navigating ambiguity and passionate about process improvement. Demonstrated expertise in team leadership, with a strong background in managing multiple projects simultaneously
Possesses a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (business, construction management, real estate) and at least 10 years of experience in project and program management
Proficient in project management best practices, frameworks, tools (e.g., budgeting, scheduling), and software (MS Project, Airtable, Procore)
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Â
Experience in land use, environmental permitting, site diligence, and pre-development civil planning is a plus
