Role Mission
We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Groups Travel Advisor to build and grow the Groups division at Ultimate Jet Vacations (UJV). This is a hands-on sales role focused on establishing the processes and structure for a successful Groups business within our B2B reservations division. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in selling group travel and a deep understanding of the B2B travel agency landscape.
This is a ground-floor opportunity to shape the future of our Groups business. You’ll work closely with our tech team to refine systems, identify and resolve operational challenges, and create a streamlined, scalable process for group sales.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop the Groups Division: Build the framework for UJV’s Groups division, including defining systems and processes, sales strategies, and operational workflows.
- Sales Execution: Act as the primary sales advisor for group travel, handling inquiries, proposals, and bookings from B2B clients.
- Contract and Rate Management: Review and negotiate supplier contracts, net rates, and group concessions to ensure maximum profitability and competitive offerings.
- Group Management: Oversee the full group movement from request to travel, including quoting, sale, rooming list coordination, and final travel execution.
- Tech Collaboration: Work with the tech team to identify and fix system gaps or inefficiencies to create a seamless booking process for group travel.
- Client Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with travel advisors and industry partners to drive repeat and referral business.
- Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine sales and operational strategies to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Market Insight: Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive offerings to position UJV’s Groups division as a market leader.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in group travel sales within the B2B travel industry.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the luxury travel market and B2B agency dynamics.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record of successfully selling and managing group travel bookings.
- Problem Solver: Comfortable identifying operational challenges and working cross-functionally to resolve them.
- Self-Starter: Highly motivated and capable of building something from the ground up with minimal direction.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
